MONKEY HEAD - AZTEC BEAD
The day sign monkey (ozomatli) was ruled by Xochipilli-Macuilxochit, god of music, dance and festivals. Children born under the sign monkey were believed to be of good disposition, happy and friendly to all. They were likely to become musicians, dancer, and craftsmen. The monkey was also related to excess and sin.
